I have been placing and restoring dental implants for more than 30 years. I became a tested Associate Fellow of the American Acedemy of Implant Dentistry in 1983.I am a founding member and past president of the Dental Implant Associates of North Carolina. I have been on the staff of Carolinas Medical Center since 1986 where I teach implant dentistry and general dentistry.
Dental implants can be used to replace a single tooth or an entire arch of teeth. Implants can be used to secure a single crown or a bridge or an implant supported denture. Implants can be easier and less expensive than other ways to replace teeth. I have seen dental cripples gain a new lease on life with dental implants and be able to eat and laugh comfortably again.
If you are in reasonably good health and a NON SMOKER, dental implants may be right for you.
